Mural Arts Career Development Program
As of July 3, 2018 Charley Frances completed the Mural Arts Career Development Program, class of 25 participants. This is a comprehensive mural training and certification program for emerging artists and public art project managers. As the first American to be accepted into and graduate this program, this program offered an extremely broad perspective on international public art applications and strategies.
The 2018 Mural Arts Career Development class included individuals that originate from Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Philippines, Turkey, Japan, India, Mexico, Colombia, Jamaica, and Canada.

Mural Art Career Development is a fully-subsidized, intensive program for emerging artists and project managers. The 60-hour curriculum encompasses a wide range of relevant topics, from discussions of administrative fundamentals to hands-on practice with various mediums. Participants also benefit from a supportive environment with networking and placement opportunities.
Acceptance to the program is by application and subject to a selection process. The curriculum covers a range of skills to prepare students for the public art workforce.
