Since 2013 Allison Lukacsy-Love has been operating Phone Gallery, a tiny pay phone box in the Waterloo Arts District that she transformed into a public art space for local artists to show their work.
The acrylic piece, “Crayola”, was on display in the Phone Gallery for a five month installation from October 2, 2017 through March 18, 2018.
Cleveland.com did a spotlight on Ali and this public art space: The future for Phone Gallery is uncertain, as Cleveland City Council approved spending up to $200,000 to remove non-functioning pay phones from around the city.
